County of Kaua`i Energy Sustainability Plan
A Kauai Energy Sustainability Plan (KESP) is currently being developed for the County of Kaua`i. The plan will take one year to develop and will suggest goals and implementation guidelines for the next 20 years. SENTECH Hawaii was selected to develop this plan — in partnership with Kauai Planning & Action Alliance and Maurice Kaya (former Chief Technology Office for the Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism and currently an energy and strategic management consultant) — and has created a process that includes community input, energy analysis, report development and implementation by Kauai County and the private sector.
