Come to the West Side Job Fair, where you’ll find a variety of companies ready to hire, with a wide range of positions and jobs waiting for someone like you.   Many opportunities are on the central to west side of the island so you can avoid a long commute.

Looking for a career or steady income you can rely on?  Full-time and part-time positions are waiting to be filled, many with great benefits.  Positions available for everyone, from students to kupuna.

Several companies may want to interview you on the spot.  You could even be hired that day!  Retail, food & beverage, administrative, professional, indoors, outdoors, it’s all out there and many include training.

To better prepare you for the job fair, here are some helpful tips:

  • Dress professionally and comfortably. You want to make a good first impression.

  • Create a resume and bring multiple copies.  Some businesses will have an application form but they may not have space on there for you to properly show your skills, work history and other details that make you valuable to the company.  Bring several copies in case you want to apply at more than one place.

  • Think about what kind of job you want.  There will be a variety of companies with positions in a range of different fields.  Some will require a full workweek, while others may only ask for a few hours or days per week.

  • Be open minded.  You may see a company or business that you never considered, but opens your eyes to new opportunities.

  • Be prepared to be interviewed that day.  Some companies will want to immediately know more about you and will want to ask you questions onsite.
