General Membership Meeting
The Kauaʻi Economic Development Board is proud to host our annual General Membership Meeting on December 18, 2025, at the Kauaʻi Beach Resort. This signature event brings together our members, partners, and community stakeholders to reflect on the past year, celebrate milestones, and strengthen connections that support a thriving Kauaʻi.
Each year, this meeting provides a valuable platform to highlight the accomplishments of our organization and the impact of our programs across the island. Attendees will learn about initiatives that have advanced economic opportunity, supported local industries, enhanced workforce development, and fostered long-term resilience for our community. We will also share exciting updates on upcoming projects and programs that are set to launch in the year ahead, offering a look at how KEDB will continue to serve and uplift Kauaʻi.
We are honored to welcome Captain Robert A. Prince as our keynote speaker, alongside Dr. Seth Colby as our guest speaker. Captain Prince’s experience, leadership, and commitment to service, combined with Dr. Colby’s deep economic expertise, will bring valuable insights and perspectives to this year’s meeting.

Meet Our Featured Speaker
We are excited to welcome Captain Robert A. Prince as this year’s keynote speaker and Dr. Seth Colby as our guest speaker.
Captain Robert A. Prince, Commanding Officer of the Pacific Missile Range Facility, brings over 20 years of leadership as a Naval Aviator and commander, with more than 2,900 flight hours and 500 carrier landings. His experience and dedication will provide inspiring insight at this year’s meeting.
Dr. Colby, Chief State Economist at DBEDT, leads statewide economic research and analysis that guides Hawai‘i’s planning and strengthens our economy. His broad experience in fiscal policy and global development brings valuable perspective.
Together, they offer a compelling combination of leadership and economic expertise that will enrich our annual meeting.
